One of the few places I love to go and enjoy eating out is Disney World. Exspensive but when you have a food issue like IBS the waiter cannot take your order. THe chef comes out and you give him/her the IBS speech( no dairy, red meats, high fructose etc.)They then go about preparing a dish just for you. My wife and friends started asking for whatever the chef puts together for me when they saw how great the food comes out.

How great that you had such a positive experience! I think that this more often than not the case. I was vegan for a while and always found that chefs were more than happy to fix a special menu when I advocated for myself. It really did all come back to me and speaking up and not worrying about being a bother or what others thought of me. I took my own pasta to a spaghetti place one time (I called ahead to clear it)- they cooked the pasta for me and plated it beautifully. Like you, the people I'm out with always want what's been cooked for me! It pays to speak up for yourself!

Awesome, you are going to have a great time. Spend some time near the Boardwalk Resort. Cool place with Dance Halls street magicians and a great restaurant called the Flying Fish.
