I have IBS-D for sure. Usually it is pretty well under control with diet , exercise, and trying to reduce stress.

But this week, since tuesday, I have been waking up with serious D. It's now been 4 morning, so i wonder, for somebody suffering from IBS already, how can you necessarily tell if it is an attack, or perhaps something viral or bacterial? At what point should you go see a doctor. I know in a lot of cases its pretty much a waste.

Any advice?

Have you made any changes to your diet in particular changes to fruits or sauces that you eat?
