Hi,
I found out salmon is about 65% fat. I ate it a month ago and had a strange BM. Is this a coincidence? I really like salmon and Heather has recipes for it in her book.
Thanks!

According to the USDA food database salmon ranges from 5% to 15% fat, 20% to 25% protein and 70% to 75% water by weight.

Salmon is known to have more fat than many other kinds of fish (e.g. swordfish, tuna, white fish), so I think it could be related. I've never been a salmon eater so I can't say anything from personal experience. In general though my stomach seems to do better when I eat very low fat.

Baked or grilled salmon is okay.

I'm not a big fish eater but I've had salmon and no problems with it. I cooked a big bowl of rice with carrots and a fresh salmon steak. It was actually really good!
