I know french fries are normally a big "no-no", but what if you bake them? How is it any different than baked potatoes?

Make sure you cut your own potatoes though, the ones from the store are pre-fried and have already absorbed all the fat.

I make steak fries all the time by slicing potatoes in wedges. Take 1 Tablespoon olive oil and mix with 1 tsp. ground cumin, 1 tsp. ground thyme and 1 tsp. ground paprika. Pour over the potato wedges, cover and shake to coat. Cook 10 to 15 minutes per side in a hot oven (425 to 450). Salt. My husband loves them and he doesn't even have IBS.

We make these to once a week or more! My husband and little girl likes these! They go great with turkey bugers! hth
