Hi. I purchased the book Eating for Ibs last saturday and trying to eat the way the books tells. It has not been going good but I think I should give myself some time. Anyway I had a question about pasta. In the book and in several says that pasta is good for ibs sufferers but wheat breads are not. I'm no food expert but as far as I know both pasta and bread is made of wheat. I would appreciate it very much if someone could explain me.

I believe whole wheat bread is the problem not white wheat bread which does not contain all the IF that whole wheat bread contains.

pasta is made with processed wheat(semolina) barilla is a good brand as it has no eggs in it also like most other pastas do.
