I just received the tummy powder and peppermint caps. I've suffered with IBS for 20+ yrs. So far the powder has just made my bloating worse and the caps make me belch peppermint. What am I doing wrong? I'm miserable

My experience is limited, but I have 2 questions/suggestions:
1) Did you try starting the tummy powder with very low amounts and slowly increasing the amounts?
2) Aside from the powder and the peppermint caps, are you otherwise following the diet described on the main part of this site and on the first few messages of the forum, avoiding trigger foods, etc?

I agree with LogicalGator: after 20 years, your body will need some time to adjust to a new approach to managing your digestive tract. Gradual changes will be easier. And, as well as applying a different approach to your diet, you may need to continue with any pharmaceutical tools you used (e.g., Gas-X or whatever). When we are in pain, it is normal to want to find an instant treatment for it, but, in this case, it is wise to take a longer view. Hang in there!
