Hi,
I just got my IBS Starter Kit#1 last night when I was at work. I was wondering if I have to keep the white plastic lid under the metal top to the can.
Also, must I use the Acacia before or after a meal? I am starting out with 1/4 teaspoon and am IBS-C. How much fluid would I take with the powder?
As always, thanks a lot!

Hi Candy:
I saw on one your other posts you were looking for a hypnotist in the NE Wisconsin area (Green Bay) who deals with IBS patients. Do you live in this area? I am from Green Bay......and yes, I do know of someone who works mainly out of Sheboygan but is in DePere once a week. She is somehow connected to Aurora so if you have insurance she may be covered. Feel free to e-mail me at sdmielke@yahoo.com and I can give you more info.

Hi sharond,
About where are you in the Green Bay area? Would you like to meet for peppermint tea sometime? I was going to say coffee, LOL. How long have you had IBS? I will e-mail you soon for that hypnotist info. Thanks a Bunch!!
I have an appointment Monday with an acupuncturist in Appleton.
I am so upset with this IBS! This morning I had a few very thin slices of ham on my breakfast toast and even that caused me abdominal cramps. When I went grocery shopping today, it was like turture knowing there are so many foods I could eat just a few months ago!!
I hope the Acacia and the acupuncture will help me. I am also highly irritated at the so-called doctors who cannot help us.

Hi Candy,
I live in Suamico....where are you???? Yes, do e-mail me...I've been dealing with this for some time and I have a few tips.....way too much to go into on this board....just got off the phone with a physical therapist regarding pelvic floor dysfunction which can also be a contributing factor.
