Would it be necessary to vary daily dosage of Metamucil or similar products according to whether B/M is C or D.
Usually I take 1 tbsp before main meal whether it's lunch or dinner.

According to my GI he says the only way MM will work for C is to take 1 tsp in 16 oz water 2x's day. He suggests the sugar free but I won't use anything with artificial sweeteners so I tried the reg flavored. It made my C worse. I guess if you have D a Tblsp would be ok. With C I think I'm better off to try to get my fiber in foods. Good luck!

Usually I wouldn't vary an SFS dosage based on whether you're having C or D but Metamucil is part SF and part IF so it may be annoying your gut on those days when you're D.
