very frustrating,what should i do?!

I work 5-12 or 1 am and get to bed,it takes a while to settle down and go to sleep.
I can't just fall asleep after a busy workday, even though i'm tired after work everyday. Well my dad, sister, and mom are up early,I was up by seven or a little before.
It really frustrates me because I don't get enough sleep,I am a very light sleeper too.I cry,I yell,I hit the wall. Especially when I'm woken up to people just waking up then fighting saying [censored] you right away in the morning.
Well everyone gets angry with me.I don't know what else to do besides lay in bed and try to sleep. But its terrible when I'm almost sleeping and someone is opening my door or the phone rings,I'm so touchy to noise
Well my mom gets especially mad at me and says i'm being selfish. Its especially hard on me when I work hard on my feet all day at my job and have to be up before noon(by 11) to deal with all my bathroom issues before work. Its worse knowing I have to go to work again at 5 and get home at 1am and be woken up so early from noise.
I get fatigued already from the hard work I do,its harder when you don't get enough sleep or already worn out from everything else before work.
My mom said today that she is going to "make me" watch anxiety tapes because its an anxiety problem and anyone would be "bound up" like me if they had anxiety like i do.
I really don't think I have anxiety problems. I am fine during the week,I get good sleep and get up right away then start having all my bathroom issues, then get ready for work at 4.

I'm a light sleeper too. Have you ever tried wearing ear plugs? I have to every night or I won't sleep. Walgreen carries pretty pink ones which are smaller for women's ear. I understand how hard it is to sleep when everyone else is up. I used to work 5am to 12noon as a teen. Try going to bed at 8pm when the whole house is up. I understand your frustration!

Good luck!

I use an air purifier. I run it on low, although you can run on medium or high. It does a good job at blocking noise.

I'm also a light sleeper and when my neighbors moved in upstairs they went to bed early and got up early. My schedule is just opposite and when they got up in the AM they would wake me because their bedroom is right above mine and the floor would creak, creak, creak! So I got earplugs when I wanted to sleep in and not be awakened. They really work!! Good luck!!!

I have tried ear plugs and they bothered me. Maybe I will try those ones. I don't know why but I can't sleep if there is a hole in my sock or my blankets aren't a certain way.Sometimes I wake up feeling really tired but have to get up to deal with ibs.

I could try one,but I have to shut my computer off at night because of the air noise and other noises it makes...I don't think its going to solve my problem because of all the yelling and every person doing their own thing, putting dishes away, washing clothes, watching tv,someon in the room next to me talking on a cellphone.... I'll probly just have to suffer on the weekends. During the weeks days it sucks sometimes too because my dad works away and my mom stays over and can get up early..People tell me to move out, well I have no money.

I have always been a very light sleeper but since I have been using the air purifier I cannot sleep without the noise from it. It did take a couple of nights to get used to it.
