Increase in Anti-Anxiety Medicine = GAS?

Two weeks ago my doctor increased the dosage of my anti-anxiety medication. Almost ever since, I've had an increase in foul-smelling gas, mostly in the afternoon and evening. I haven't changed anything else, including my diet. Can anyone explain this? Anyone had a similar experience?

I have never taken it. Perhaps someone else on the board has.

Here is a link to the side effects given on the trazodone web site. One of the main GI side effects is stomach pain or gas.
