I am IBS-D. I find if I do not take pancreatic enzymes with dinner the next day I have D big time. I recently stopped taking the pancreatin and suddenly had a horrible 2 days of D. I do not rigidly follow the diet and I hadnt had problems in a while, now I will always take the pancreatin.
You all might want to give it a try and maybe you can add some fatty foods to your diet.

It didn't work for me Steve. Occasionally I would have very bad days on pancreatin (12 capsules a day - 4 each meal). Over time I worked out what was going on. If I had anymore than 40g of fat per day, I would have multiple bouts of urgent D. After 3 months I stopped taking it.

Thats a lot of pancreatin, maybe it was irritating your system.I go easy on it, usually only one capsule with dinner. By the next morning I would have a semi-regular movement.
Also, you have to make sure theres no lactose in it, some companies use lactose to cut the product. Pure Encapsulations and Intensive Nutrition are 2 that I know dont have lactose in it.
