I have two questions: First is pineapple juice safe for us IBSers? I wanted to use it in a recipe, so it wouldnt be just drinking it straight up. Second: I dont typically cook with oil, but the recipe calls for just 1 tablespoon of oil... what type of oil is the safest? If this recipe is any good and sits well, I will pass it on! Thanks
Stef

I use canola oil. I *think* I read it's safest in one of Heather's books, but I don't have them handy to say for sure.
As an ingredient, I would think the pineapple juice would be okay.

Canola oil is the easiest to dygest. I kept getting sick from any oil untill I tried canola. Now I even eat fried foods, if I fry them in canola. Good luck!

I also like to use canola oil (or sunflower oil but it's not widely available in the US). I think the pineapple juice should be fine, I eat pineapple without problems.
