I'm brand new. I've looked at some of the recipes & dietary restrictions. I'm also hypoglycemic and have to follow a strict diet for that. The 2 diets have a lot of conflicts to wade through. Anybody been here, done that, and can share tips, menus, recipes to get me going fast? Thxs.

I have the same problem. Eat LOW GI when you can.
For example, for hypoglycemia they'd normally recommend a low gi grain bread, but grain bread can hurt your IBS.
What I do is take a sourdough bread and put low gi toppings on to help lower the gi of the entire meal.
Here is a sample of what a normal day might be like for me.
Breakfast. Oats with soy milk and sliced banana with a little brown sugar.
Snack: Rice cakes with Avocado or some mango
Lunch: Sourdough roll with lean turkey, LOTS of avocado and some cranberry sauce that is not too lumpy(if it is lumpy puree it and pass through a siv)and a slice of lettuce.
Snack: Mango and pear pieces. No skins.
Dinner: Grilled or Steamed Chicken with sweet potatoes, plain potatoes AND well steamed asparagus or zucchini.
Dessert: Soy Icecream with papaya or just a small scoop of Soy icecream with a cone.
Drinks: Low fat, low GI Soy Milks. Water. Smoothies made with Soy milk, a little organic honey and good fruit like mango or papaya. Other blended fruits you can tolerate like strawberries would be good too.
Pretzels are also a great snack. Just watch the salt intake!
