It's been over a year since I last viewed this site. I was suffering terribly from gastric dumping or dumping syndrome symptoms. I would basically get explosive D 30 to 60 minutes after eating most things. It was miraculously cured when I started taking the acacia powder. I stabalized at 2 teaspoons with each meal (3 times a day), and I don't have many restrictions except for watching for fat levels.
I'm so grateful for coming into contact with this site, but now I'm requesting help with my problem that has persisted. My stools are soft and stickey. Can I firm the stools up by taking more acacia?

It couldn't hurt to give it a try! Just be sure to increase gradually so you don't get bloated.

IBS-A since age 12, and fructose sensitive; with the exception of my pregnancy, have been following Heather's diet since Nov. 19, 2007.
Taking 12g of Acacia per day. Relatively stable since March 2008!
