Is there a recipe out there that I could use to make a gingerbread house? I'm really wanting to make one this year but I can't seem to find a safe recipe.

Hi - I don't know of one, but you may want to try posting this on the recipe exchange. Hopefully, you may get more responses.

Do you actually EAT the gingerbread house after it's all built? I didn't think that was done. . . ???? Bev

I was thinking the same thing, but I've never built a gingerbread house, so I wasn't sure.

I make gingerbread houses with my cousins - in fact, we're doing it this weekend! Usually we'll make them and for a couple days afterwards, the candy decorations will "dissapear" slowly off of them until all the good candy is gone. They don't eat the graham crackers since they're stale by the time you take them down.
