chicken???

Ever since I was a kid every time I have bbq chicken or kentucky fried chicken, it gives me bad bloating, cramps and even a bad tasting burp.

Is it all that fat and spices? Because I am hoping I can eat leaner chicken. I always seem to have tolerated red meat better for some reason. Anyone else?

Yes, it's most likely the fat content in fried chicken and BBQ chicken. Spices aren't triggers for IBSers, but they're usually in food that's high in fat which is the real culprit. Try some grilled or baked chicken (white meat only) and you shouldn't have any problems.

I had BBQ'd chicken breast a couple of weeks ago and I was fine!
