I decided to mix my acacia like I was making a sauce or gravy, make a slurry and mix in the rest of the liquid and it worked in hot or cold beverages. Take your acacia and add enough liquid just to make a thick paste and stir it up. That is about 1-2T of liquid. Then add the rest of the liquid and it actually doesn't clump. This always works for me for gravies and it works great for acacia. Pouring in slowly is needed with gravy but doesn't seem to be necessary for acacia.

Thanks, Minnie. I will try your suggestion. I'm a small person, too, so your advice makes sense. Do you also take another fiber supplement? I used to use Equalactin, and am planning on trying it again.

Interesting - I will have to try that! I have no problem mixing it with water, but for some reason when I mix it with soy milk it just clumps right up. I always have these chewy clumps in the bottom of my glass.

Make sure that you mix the little bit of liquid really well so it is smooth then add the rest. I used to put half a tablespoon in each of two bowls of cereal and stirred and stuff but it was always clumpy before. Now a big tablespoon has no clumps at all in one bowl of cereal.
