ibs with gerd and heartburn

anyone have GERD and heartburn? not only do i have ibs, but i now have acid reflux and heartburn with everything i eat, even oatmeal!!! i don't have anything spicy or citrus. doc has me on protonix. i still get heartburn on the medication. at this point, i'm out of ideas. there are so many things i can't eat. no dairy, no soy, no fat, no citrus, no tomatoes, .... i'm very frustrated at this point. i think the sphincter LES has weakened due to always being bloated (looking like i'm 5 months pregnant) with ibs. if this is what caused me to now have reflux, i think a lot more people with ibs are also at risk for acid reflux because of being bloated all the time with pressure on the LES. I'm curious to here how many of you also suffer from acid reflux.

I have reflux although they didn't diagnose me with GERD. I take aciphex and sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. I can't eat any garlic, tomatoes, spicy foods either. Its very hard.
