I meant to tell you guys I bough these chicken nuggets in the frozen section of whole foods and had a few for lunch yesterday dipped in applesauce. Its hard with Gerd because honey mustard kills me and forget barbq sauce ect with IBS rules. Anyways I see kids eat them this way. But they were yummy and had no problems. I am not a big fan of frozen foods because of the sodium and hidden artifical flavors ect. But these were all natural no antibotics no nitrates like there lunch meats at the deli. They also have turkey burgers which I bought. These things were alittle extra money but perfect for the last minute meals. And my hubby was a fan so just thought I would share.

Sounds yummy! I'll have to look for those. Have you tried the Appelgate Farms cold cuts (chicken and/or turkey)? I always see them and immediately I think of making myself a sandwich but I won't buy them 'cause I'm not sure if they fall in the cold-cut-IBS-nono category.

no the deli meat is fine. They come prepacked or you can have the deli at whole foods slice the ones you like. This company is all natural more organic so so nitrates ect. Its always been okay for me even before following EFI. I like the roasted turkey and this other chicken breast flavor. A co worker said there turkey burgers are yummy so I cant wait to try them for dinner one night this week.

there is no way I can eat any type of cold cut/deli meats unless it has NO nitrates or preservatives. It kills me.. Boars head has a all natural smoked or oven roated turkey that is tasty as well as applegate farms which is sold at whole foods deli.

because cold cuts often contain preservatives that can bother a lot of people with IBS. Some people are fine with them, however, so you've got to figure it out on your own. Generally I eat turkey breast (or chicken) but stay away from salami, bologna, etc.
