I have been searching all of the message boards and support groups and I have only found one person that lives in Minnesota. Little Minnie. I'm curious to see if there are any support groups near me. Anyone??

There was another member on here once that turned out to live on my same street in my little town! I believe there are at least 3 others. We were just talking about GIs in MN last week. I don't know of support groups. I am content with talking online and with my husband and family.

"You absolutely must eat insoluble fiber foods, and as much as safely possible, but within the IBS dietary guidelines. Treat insoluble fiber foods with suitable caution, and you'll be able to enjoy a wide variety of them, in very healthy quantities, without problem." Please eat IF foods!

Wow, small world! I think talking online will be just fine for me as well. I just thought if there was a support group, I might like to go and see what it's like. GI is a specialist right? Gastroenterologist? is that it? Do you know of any within the Minneapolis/St. Paul area?

I am in Morris MN. I just moved here from WI. Haven't found any good doctors yet. Was considering something more "alternative" than a GI. I think it is important to see a GI initially (which I have done) to rule out more serious diseases. But once they *diagnose* you I think there is little help they can offer.

I live in St. Cloud! Do you go to a GI at the CentraCare clinic?
