Months ago, my doctor put me on Librax and I was to chicken to try it because one of the side effects was consitapation and it needed to be taken 3 times a day. Is anyone on this? If so, how many times a day do you take it and does it cause C? I'm thinking of going off my acid reflux meds. that aren't working that great and going on this (like I should have from the very beginning). Thanks!

I am currently taking Librax right now.. for me it doesn't cause constipation it actually hardens my stool when I have to go.. I was on it for 5 months then became preganant.. I got off it, and then after my pregnacy, (so recently) I got back on it, but its not as effective as it was before..
you take it before meals and It helps slows down your digestive system.. I still have some BM after I eat, but I am not running for the restroom 15 mins after I eat.. every medication works differenlty on people..
I was also on bentyl and that did absoulutely nothing for me..

Thanks everyone for your advice! I'm going to ask my doctor if he thinks I should try it or stay on my acid reflux meds. Thanks again!
