I think the problem is that your taking everything at once. I take 2 pills a day that are 1.5 billion *with food* as specified in the directions. I would take your pills with food and eat the yogurt at a different time than the pills

Andrew,

Are you taking this along with large amount of Heathers SFS? I am still struggling with increasing Acacia. Its like I cant get past 1 tsp. I tried increasing 1/4 tsp this last weekend since I have had friday and monday off. But I have had such gas and rumbling and pains I went back to 1tsp and dropped the 1/4 tsp. Within in a day I was fine??? For the most part my C has been a lot better and the gas have calmed down. So I am curious why I cant seem to digest more?? This has been 3 weeks on 1 tsp.

So have you been feeling better still since you have been taking 3 TBS through out the day still??

thanks..Deb

Hello Deb...I am currently taking 24 g of Acacia a day along with peppermint caps and VSL #3. I think VSL #3 is my answer. Since I started taking it I feel totally normal and am even going to experiment with eating normal. I consider myself stable now and while Heather's diet is great I don't think IBS'ers should ever stop until they find a cure for themselves. Good luck. I hope I have found my cure.

This is wonderful!!!!!!!!!! Are you taking one packet a day of the VSL or 1/2? I wonder if it would work for me without taking Acacia. It seems like that also plays a big role for you, Andrew.

Hi, I've never posted before so I hope I'm doing this right. I was wondering what VSL is? and how does it help IBS? Thanks.
