Citrucel and Probiotics

Hi - Doctor cant diagnose IBS since its only been 2 weeks that I am symptomatic...he prescribed Citrucel 2x daily and Probiotics 2x daily......has anyone been helped by this?

I take 2 caplets of citracel twice a day since May

Citrucel, I take 2-3x a day and it prevents my constipation from getting unbearable. I still have problems, but they are lessened when I take fiber supplements.
I take Digestive Advantage for IBS every day and I'm not really sure it it helps, but I'm not ready to stop taking it yet, to find out if I'll be worse.
btw, I've tried a few other probiotics including yogurt, with no luck. Actually, yogurt usually makes my tummy hurt.

The fiber alone has not done the trick but along with heathers diet, the citracel and a stool softner, yes it has helped with regularity

don't you take Miralax too? And/or Amitza (sp)?Or am I mistaken?

I do, I take Mirilax in the morning and also the amitiza just once a day. I am hoping that once my system becomes more regular that I can stop taking the mirilax
