I hear ya Mark. Not only does IBS effect us physically, but emotionally as well. And it is very hard for "normal" people to understand. If you ever want to chat or vent on AIM I am PuddleOfL0ve (the o in love is a zero).

I hear ya, and I'm right there with ya. Being a natural control freak, this diet allows me to have control over whether I feel good or bad, but because of my control issues, I'm afraid to try anything and my diet is so restricted that I now weight 100 lbs. I'm thrilled to know what I can do to ensure I feel good all the time, but this can be just a frustrating as well. For instance, I know that if I eat boiled chicken and a plain baked potato for every meal, that I can go through the rest of my life without IBS symptoms. It is so hard, and I really don't think people without IBS can ever understand. Thanks for the post, you made me feel like I'm not alone.
