I'm vegan & just starting the diet. I've found that for a good amount of the recipes I could substitute easily, or they were vegan in the first place. The egg whites, however, are a different story. I couldn't find a vegan egg white substitute but I did find some whole egg substitutes.
One is powdered one called Bob's Red Mill All Natural Egg Replacer. The ingredients are Whole soy flour, Wheat gluten, Corn syrup solids, Algin (from algae) It has per tablespoon: 30 calories, 1 gram of fat, and one gram of fiber. It says to use one tablespoon mixed with 3 tablespoons water for each whole egg to be replaced.
The other one is WonderSlim Fat & Egg Substitute, its a liquid in a jar. The ingredients are Water, Dried plum juice concentrate, Oat fiber, soy lecithin. The directions on this one are kinda weird and suggest the use of egg whites with it so I dont know if this is good but it also says it can replace fats in salad dressings you make, cakes, etc.
Does anyone know anything about either of these products and how I should use them with the diet?? Thank you!!!

I'm not a vegetarian so forgive me for my ignorance, how about Egg Beaters or Just Whites?
Egg Beaters Info
Just Whites Info
My supermarket has a refrigerated version of Just Whites or Egg Whites--I can't remember what the name was but it was in a blue carton. I prefer Egg Beaters.

I just got back from the supermarket. The other egg white brand that I saw in the refrigerated section in addition to the Egg Beaters is All Whites.

Thank you, but vegans don't eat any animal products so egg whites, coming from an egg, are not vegan. I was thinking about just gettin em and not being vegan anymore because I couldnt find anything else but thats not something I really wanna do. I think I figued how to use the ones I got in the recipes im just afraid they wont taste good because some vegan things are AWFUL hahaha
are the ingredients in those products safe though?

I could never be vegan!!! But my sister often uses silken tofu as suggested on the website link below. When I say often, I mean, when she really has to, but generally speaking she just eats nothing that needs eggs. Which isn't too hard if you don't bake a lot. But at least the tofu kind of makes up for some of the protein of the eggs I suppose?? anyway this site is the go-to site every time I cook for her.

I use the Ener-G egg replacement or flax seed. Both have worked great and I haven't noticed a difference.
