Welcome to the forums its nice to see someone from my neck of the wood... yes the stress thing is what my doc seems to keep pushing, although i dont doubt that stress worsens me but its hard to get them to listen.

I always have to argue with her to get her to listen, and its not like i can just go out and get a second opinion Doc are hard to come by in this city.

Just read your old post. Diagnosed with IBS in 2003. Been controlling it fairly well but now fear I have rectal prolapse and wondering if it ever was IBS. I see the doctor on May 5th and want to be as prepared as possible. What method did they use for your surgery...how long was recovery...what to expect during recovery...any other important information would be greatly appreciated...thanks Mary!
