Is anyone taking Ultram ER

I am on 55mg's of elavil and still having problems have been on elavil for many many years maybe it isn't working, my doc suggested Ultram ER, wondering is anyone taking it and how are they doing.

I was on elavil and it didn't help with my pain or sleep. I didn't try ultram slow release but tried tramadol or ultram for pain relief as needed. I have very weird pain and sometimes took the edge off but overall was not enough for my pain but when my pain was very bad vicadin didn't help either. I'm not sure what your taking this for but I have heard that people have gotten benefits from ultram. Good luck

Iam on elavil for pain from fibro..can't see how it helps my IBS, I have been on elavil since 1992 now on 55mgs, weight gain and other side effects but after reading about Ultram that sounds scary, the doc said take the ultram on bad days and stay on the elavil, I didn't do it to me it is just too much med's.I am afraid to try the Ultram due to the side effects that I have read.Did it makes you dizzy and tired.
