I cannot find this stuff anywhere!! I am not from a small town by any means. It's the second largest city in Illinois for cripes sake. I've found veggie cheese and almond cheese but they both contain casein. Has anyone had any luck ordering from a website? Or is anyone from northern Illinois that has found some?

Try Whole Foods if you're in Naperville.

If you're in Rockford, try Natural Choices on Riverside (by Thai Cuisine) or Woodman's. The 320 Store might have something, too, but I don't remember to go in there very often. There's also that new store on Main across from where the K-Mart used to be. I haven't been in there yet, but I hear they have "weird stuff," so it might be worth a look anyway.

Although, I believe many of the soy cheeses have casesin in them, too. It doesn't bother me.

My all-time favorite soy cheese is Lisanatti, but I can't find that in Rockford. I bring a cooler & stock up whenever I'm near a Whole Foods.

I too, love the Lisanatti. Mac and cheese comes out pretty good! Anyway, I just tried Veggie Slices by Galaxy Nutritional Foods. They are individually wrapped slices. I bought the cheddar and smoked provolone flavors. They're not very strong tasting but when I made grilled cheese with the cheddar, it melted great. I found them in King Kullen supermarket.
