I eat wheat all of the time and I eat corn meal from time to time.

Do you find you have problems with wheat?

wheat does make me a bit bloated but i also read that it has fructose in it, that's really the reason I asked, because I wasn't sure about it. Thankyou for all your help, it can get quite confusing. I've also just had my blood tested for celiac so I'm waiting for the results. Thanks againx

Wheat, artichoke, green beans, leeks and onions contain fructans - these are long chains of fructose molecules with a molecule of glucose at one end of the chain. Some individuals with severe fructose malabsorption have troubles with fructans as well as fructose.
