Malt Vinegar-Safe Dipping Sauce?

I go this craving for dipping baked chips in malt vinegar, not much details on here, which got me wondering is this safe and recommeneded or cautious?

I've never had a problem with vinegar as an ingredient or on fish.

Huh. I've never thought of using it as a dip with chips. Great idea.

I've never had a problem with vinegar. If you have upper digestive problems (like GERD, acid reflux), then you probably don't want to have too much since vinegar is acidic.

Part of my D tendency is directly related to foods that are very acidic, like tomatoes and vinegar. I think this just needs to be tested by each person to see what you yourself can tolerate.

I suppose if you have C, Gas, or bloating that really isn't upper GI, which is more cramping?

If the cramping is IBS, it takes place in the intestines and/or colon, not the upper GI tract.
