I have repeatedly tried the Pep Caps and have a question. It has been 2 hours since I last swallowed a capsule and I was wondering why from my throat to the pit of my stomach, it feels like I have swallowed a spoon of vicks. Is that normal. I am not in any pain, but it is kind of uncomfortable. I feel like if I burped it would come out peppermint. I guess not a bad thing. Is that normal for you peppermint cap users? Thank you.

I'm not sure what it feels like to swallow a sppon full of Vicks but I have tried taking peppermint before and it always gives me stomach/heartburn. Anyone who has any kind of reflux issues shouldn't take it. I don't have reflux problems and it's still causes trouble for me, which sucks, cause peppermint is good.

I have really bad GERD (reflux), and at times one will do that to me and other times I don't even know I took one....however I try to take one about an hour after I take my GERD medicine. Since they are great, I try to tolerate it the best I can...

Although the Peppermint Oil Capsules do not bother me, I had some Peppermint Oil on hand so I tried it under my nose and it seemed to work. Maybe this would work for those of you who cannot tolerate the capsule.
