I'm still trying to figure this out. I'm having trouble getting it to completely dissolve, even though I follow the directions about an empty glass, letting it sit, etc.
Also, should I only take acacia with meals that have IF? For breakfast, I usually stick with only SF foods, so should I take acacia with breakfast? And later in the day, should I only take the acacia if I have a moderate amount of IF in the meal?
When do I take this? Please help!

I just mix up my acacia with water. I always take some in the morning, whether I'm having IF or not. I put it in the glass first, then put the glass under the faucet (we have a faucet filter) and try to make sure the water hits the powder in the bottom. I stir it up with a spoon right away and let it sit for a few minutes and it usually dissolves pretty well.
For the rest of the day, I have a plastic water bottle I keep with me at work, so I put some acacia in that and fill it up with water the same way. It's harder to get the water to hit the powder at the bottom, so I shake it up, let it sit, shake it up some more, etc. By the time I get to work it has usually dissolved completely. I drink it throughout the day, especially right before meals.
Acacia powder is also great in fruit smoothies. The blender will mix it up very well, so no need to wait. I like to add banana to my smoothies for some consistency and extra SF.

I take mine at each main meal. I put it on my cereal or hashbrowns. At lunch it goes in my applesauce, on my salad or in soup. Dinner it goes on anything from the veges, to the pasta. If I don't have anything food wise to mix it with then I put it in some applesauce. I don't like to drink it but I do add it into my peppermint tea sometimes. I have found that ginger tea works great too as the sharpness offsets the thicker feel to the liquad. It's all about mouth feel for me but Acacia can go into or on pretty much anything.

Did you try usiing a fork to mix it? For some reason it mixes better with a fork. Make sure the liquid you're putting it in is not very hot, or very cold.
