Hi everyone.

I've noticed a pattern where I can be fine and regular during the day, but it's in the late afternoon, early evening time where I start feeling bloated and gassy. Any suggestions? Should I time a supplement around then?

It could be related to something you are eating at lunch or breakfast. What is your standard lunch and breakfast? What supplements are you taking?

I always bloat about 4pm. I did today in fact. Sometimes it is different but most of the time that happens. Anyway I think the cause is my bowels wanting to move again in the afternoon and not letting them. If I was home and had plenty of time I would go after lunch and after dinner and my gut would be happier. Very few people are bloated after breakfast but it is really common to bloat after lunch and dinner when the gut is getting crabby. Taking time to relax the bowels and take a short walk would do wonders if it could be done. Also eating smaller meals througout the day is fabulous.

"You absolutely must eat insoluble fiber foods, and as much as safely possible, but within the IBS dietary guidelines. Treat insoluble fiber foods with suitable caution, and you'll be able to enjoy a wide variety of them, in very healthy quantities, without problem." Please eat IF foods!
