Thanks for responding to my post, I really appreciate the advise.

I decided to let the Soy Yogurt go and just experiment with the Lil Soy Dreamers. Also, I decided to use just a little bacos, since they have soy in them as well.

I am almost back to normal, and will be starting my exercise regime again.

I was in so much pain and had an awful case of C as well as bloating. I could not even pass gas. This lets me know that I can only take small portions of soy.

I have been on Acacia for over a year with no problems. I will stick with it, it works for me!!!

Heather has another sandwich on her DVD, the Tuna Melt. I bought some Soy cheese at Trader Joes, before I knew I could not tolerate it, and now I will not be using it - too scarry!!! I also found some Veggie Slices of American cheese at the local grocery store and am thinking of using it instead of the soy cheese. It does not have as much soy in it as the "real" soy cheese. Also, I will be substituing onion power for the "raw" onions and celery seed for the "raw" celery and substituting a small amount of butter lettuce for the "real" celery.

Please let me know your thoughts. I will not make the sandwich until I get you guys opinion.

Its funny, I was eating IBS safe for three years - no problem. All of a sudden, I gained 20 pounds!!! I try Heather's recipes and have an attack of C!!!

Thanks guys. I cannot express how much you are appreciated.

Lene

P.S. Heather, if you happen to see this post; drop your opinion in!

Glad to help! And I'm glad that cutting back on the soy helped, too - I mean, I know it's inconvenient for the sake of buying foods, but at least you know what was causing the problems.

I can't help you *too* much with the tuna melt; I never, ever, EVER use cheese substitutes of any kind (I find them unspeakably foul-tasting), but I think that if you're okay with smaller amounts of soy, you may be able to handle that. I would avoid any other soy products on that day, just to be on the safe side. And your substitutions for the tuna salad itself sound fine.

How about rice cheese? I know of one that is casein free and soy free.
