I have done some reading on Aloe Vera gel and began taking it about a week ago. I'm not sure if it is making a difference yet but I was wondering if anyone else has tried it and what kind of luck you might have had???

Aloe isn't recommended, as it can cause more problems than it helps.

Suggested reading:
Aloe can cause cathartic colon

aloe has helped a lot of people with IBS. the gel is safe but the whole leaf can have a mild laxative effect like senna. aloe has been used for a very long time and there is no documented proof suggesting that its dangerous. heather has 1 article posted on this site but i cant find anything else out there saying its bad.
