Absolutly, it goes down easy and you won't get hungry quite as soon as you do with white rice cereal.

actually, the white rice kind keeps me full for about 2.5-3 hours, which is how long i typically allow between meals! But perhaps I will give it a try when I've exhausted my current supply.

I do eat the brown cream of rice first thing in the am along with some rasberries and strawberries cooked and chopped up, and 1 T of flaxmeal too.
Maybe that's too much IF??? I think the creamy brown rice I've been using is pretty digestable, though. I'm afraid all white rice would make my C worse.

Could you try doing half brown and half white? I was thinking about doing that.

You could do a mix of brown and white but you would have to cook them separately. Brown rice takes a lot longer to cook. I like the medium grain brown rice better than the long grain. It doesn't seem quite so chewy once it's cooked.

As far as I could tell by searching and using..Pocono's cream of buckwheat cereal is a.o.k. (Also, gluten free if needed). It has no hull;but, hull is ok if buckwheat is ground still including the hull into buckwheat flour and then mixed with the higher ratio of white wheat flour, for asian buckwheat noodles or buckwheat pancakes.
