I finally figured out what foods give me gas based on time. I typically get gas 6-8 hours after eating the offending food. With the soy milk for breakfast thing, I would get gas around 2 in the afternoon - about 7 hours after eating my breakfast. Once I cut out the soy milk, the afternoon gas went away.

I also get gas when I eat too much. I have cream of rice weekday mornings at about 10am. I LOVE the stuff, so I have a tendency to binge on it. If I eat too much of it, I get gas around 6pm. If I eat a reasonable amount, I don't. Crazy, huh? But I guess this diet has taught me how to be really observant about how foods affect me.
