It looks like you're getting IF with pretty much every meal. Looks good to me!

I saw that you add oat bran to your oatmeal. Is that purely IF? I have a jar of wheat germ here that I have always added to my toddler's cereal in the AM...just for some added nutrients. I am wondering if I should add some to my meals too once in a while when I am feeling a bit c. What do you think and what is the difference between the brans and the germs? lol!

It looks alright but heavy on the SF side. I don't see much protein though. If you're still feeling C, you should increase your IF by adding more veggies.

Oat bran is much easier to tolerate than wheat germ, I find. I have a bread that has oat bran in it, never bothered me. Oatmeal is whole grain oats, so I'm pretty sure it's the same thing as oat bran?
Wheat germ is basically whole wheat, which I find hard to tolerate. Wheat germ includes the outer hull of the wheat grain.
The oatmeal is SF/IF mix, the wheat germ I would treat as IF.

Thanks. I also read a post you replied to about flaxseed. I am sort of looking for something elso to add to my oatmeal or even rice to boost my IF intake and make me "go." I am already eating fruits and veggies but some days I feel more c even if I have had a bm. As you know, I started as a D so I am petrified to try anything too drastic, so what would you do as far as choosing something? the flaxseed? the wheat germ? I can tolerate ww bread in small amounts and whole grain english muffins. I probably wouldn't take this daily, just on c days but I don't want to be in the bathroom all day either...just want to feel more "empty." The raisins have been working but if I take too many, I think it's giving me gas/bloating. Thanks for your advice.

Start with a low dose if you try the flax, and continue to drink plenty of water.

I would try the flax. I definetly tolerate it more than raisins. The oatmeal I buy has flax in it, and overall I think it's not much. If you're adding it yourself start with just a little bit, maybe a tsp.

What kind of texture do these flax seeds have? Are they big and crunchy or not too bad? Could I maybe grind them up or something? I'm looking for some IF to add to my cream of rice, but don't want to add anything really hard or crunchy...
