Coconut meat and shredded desiccated coconut flakes contain about 35% fat by weight. Desiccated coconut flakes weigh relatively little - for example, a tbsp weighs about 5 grams and it will contain about 1.75 grams of fat. So a small amount of shredded coconut will add relatively little fat. Unfortunately, the fat in coconut is saturated fat.

Isn't the fat in avocadoes also saturated? Maybe that is wrong.
