OK its not that much of an emergency but brought some tvp today (first time, excited!) and i had some stir fry nodles and hoisin sauce which was going to add some spinach and mayb other veg to, could it go in a stir fry or do i need it to go in a stronger sauce???? also can i just stir fry courgette??? i finish work in a hour and going to cook my tea after so any advise needed asap!!!!

Sorry I didn't reply within the hour, but my favorite TVP recipe is a "Sloppy Joe" recipe from the Recipe Index. It's quick and Yummy!

no worries, i tried it with hoi sin sauce and noodles and turned out just great! soy still gives me some gas thou, but no d, yey! i read somewhere that your body has to adjust to it or somethin? i keep hearing about beano, can i get it in the uk?? what does it help with?

Beano contains an enzyme that helps your body digest gassy foods like beans, veggies, whole grains, etc. Not sure if you can buy it in the UK, but maybe you can order it online?

Check you local health food store for digestive products containing the enzyme alpha-galactosidase which is the active ingredient in Beano.
