And the few posts there are go back over a few years.
So, of those of you still around and have tried it, how many of you did it actually work for.
I'm always trying new things and I picked this up today to try out. I'll report on how it goes. I'm not starting it until this Friday. I always start something new on a weekend - just in case.

Where do you get it? Is it a probiotic? I forgot. Thanks. wlm

Yes, it's a probiotic. You'll probably have to have a local pharmacy order it.

Well, I have been taking Florastor for 2 days and it seems to be making a positive difference. I've noticed some mild nausea, which may be from just about anything for me. Nausea hits me pretty easily. But BMs seem more formed and MUCH more comfortable and expeditious (not in a D kind of way, just a prompt and efficient kind of way).

So, I've been taking this for a while now, and bottom line, for me, overall it seems to have made a small improvement. Not anything huge or real life changing, but things are a little more efficient. And with IBS, you pretty much take what you can get, sad as that is. No matter how small the improvement, it still is improvement.
I didn't notice any adverse effects of any kind.
