Hey everyone, so I am a true member now. I went through everyting....the scopes and everything and have one more follow up. I am feeling a lot better and know that I know I reallly really have ibs, I can get on the road to recovery. I read the most beautiful line in the world the other day when my doctor gave me some readings and it read "often ibs suffers have the worst pain on their left side". I have been looking for this small sentence for years and years becuase that is where most of my pain is. So, here I am to stay!

Well, I'm sorry you have IBS, but I'm glad you finally have an answer. If you haven't done so already, I recommend getting a copy of The First Year: IBS. It has excellent information and Heather's writing style makes you feel like you're not alone in dealing with IBS.
