Citrucel & cramping

I recently switched my fiber supplement from Metamucil (caused gas) to Citrucel. While the gas is better I've been having some cramping. I'm not having any D or C, just some mild cramping.

Could it be the Citrucel? I'm only taking 2 caplets per day and have been taking it for a month maybe.

Thanks for any input!

None of those SFS ever worked for me; they always made me feel worse. Acacia is the only one that hasn't caused me any side effects.

Citrucel contains methylcellulose, a SF, which is suppose to produce less gas than say SF containing psyllium. You might try removing it from you diet for a couple of days and see if the cramping decreases or disappears.
