Hello everyone. I got Heather's cooking for IBS DVD today and think it is wonderful!!!
Problem: I am trying to lose weight - how do I cook enough for one? My LH is not interested and my daughter has moved out on her own. I only need to cook enough of each recipe for me.
Please Help.
Thanks.

You can either cut the recipes, or freeze the remaining portions. If you serve the food to your husband without him knowing it's "IBS friendly" he'll eat it.

Many recipes, once prepared, can be frozen. Invest in a good bunch of portion-size freezer containers. This works out really well for you, because you can cook once and eat 4-6 times from the same recipe, without having to eat the same thing for a week!
For recipes that can't safely be frozen, just cut them down. If there are ingredients that trip you up, like an egg - something not easily divided - post over in the recipe forum and one of us will help out where we can.
Honestly, if you served the stuff to your husband, I seriously doubt he'd make a fuss - the recipes are very good. And if he does, tell him to make his own d**n dinner. Haha.
