Thanks for all the responses--glad to know the oversensitivity thing isn't just me Even without following the diet 100%, I'm pretty stable lately--I think anxiety has way more to do with my IBS than diet, actually, and I've been pretty good about calming myself down lately. I'm excited about graduating from college and being able to cook for myself, though--it will be sooooo much easier to control my diet.
(And Gracie, yes, if I go even one day without protein, I'm shaky, woozy, headache-y, and nauseated--kind of like being really sleep-deprived).

Have you tried the hypnotherapy yet? A lot of people say it has really helped them with their IBS related anxiety.
