I literally can not believe it but I have now experienced 3 days without any pain and minimal symptoms. This is the first time since late August that I have felt normal and experienced days with no pain (I have daily pain for many hours w/o BM changes).
Since I am pain predominant IBS w/ D this is such an amazing and welcomed breakthrough for me! I just can't thank each and every one of you enough for helping me get to a point where I am finally experiencing some pain free days. I have learned so much about how to eat and how to take control of my IBS b/c of all of you fantastic people.
I am just so happy and I wanted to share my joy with you all.

I am so pleased for you, Sufie. It does take time and perserverance to get to this point, but it's well worth it.
As you know, I am also doing well on this diet, and experiencing longer pain-free periods, too. I am so thankful for this website and community.

Hi Rio,
It is so great to hear from you. I am very happy to know that you are experiencing less pain and all your hardwork is paying off. I look forward to hearing from you further regarding your improvements. By the way, I am also doing the hypnosis CD's (I am on day 15) and I think they are really helping me in addition to the dietary changes. Not sure if you have tried them but I just wanted to put that out there. Take care!
