Thanks for the awesome response. You are so right and I really appreciate you breaking it down for me so logically. It is so true that there are a lot of things that some are sensitive too and other do just fine. I do tend to get a little hypersensitive about things b/c I get tired of this IBS drama but I think you are right about not overstressing about it. Besides, I love my Silk soy milk and do not want to give it up. I may try your method of limiting my carageenan intake as much as possible but not overdoing it.

Hey Julie, one more question--what products do you use to replace milk? As I mentioned in my earlier reply to you I use Silk soy milk. Silk has carageenan and I would like to try something w/o as an alternative just for a change..

Soy Dream Classic (not enriched) and Soy Dream Enriched Chocolate do not have carageenan.
Rice Dream milks don't have it either (except the Horchata).

what brand of milk alternative do you use to avoid carageenan and casein?
