How do most of you keep track of your daily fat intake? Food journaling is just not that convenient--not that I want to be lazy but I just know there is a better way. Any recommendations? Thanks....

I spend all day at work in front of an internet connected computer -- so I use fitday.com to food journal. When/if I have IBS symptoms, I track that in the "journal" section of the site. You can also track activities. What I like is that it will make cute little graphs of your fat intake, calories, protein, pretty much whatever you want it to over any amount of time. But, then, I'm retentive (goes with C, I guess... )

Speaking of fat, is 25% a really strick threashold?
When you have food or meals that have more than 25% of their calories from fat, even if it is say 30%, does it really make a difference?

To me it does.

I debated a bit about what that threshold meant -- whether each component had to be less than 25%, or whether the meal as a whole needed to be. I decided on the meal, and have been okay with that (my mayo substitute is about 30%, but the sandwiches I make are low fat.)

I'm A, predominently C, but too much fat can bring on a nice D attack. You have to figure out what you can tolerate. Everyone is different.
