Help for Gas

I continue to have a lot of trouble with gas and bloating. I see a lot of people take Acacia to help with that, and I tried that & it worked, but unfortunately I am allergic to Acacia I've been drinking lots of fennel tea lately and taking Gas X. Are there any foods I should avoid (besides the usual gas-inducing ones)? My GI doctor told me that eating a lot of carbohydrates would make my gas worse. Is that true?
Thanks for any advice you can provide. I am so frustrated

It isn't so much that Acacia helps with gas as it is that Acacia is less likely to produce gas than many other SFS.
As for carbohydrates making your gas worse, it is true but your body should adjust eventually. Digestive enzymes like Beano can help with that to some extent.
Here's a post I did on Soluble Fiber and gas a while back. I hope it helps.

Believe it or not, the hypno program and eating smaller meals has helped my gas a LOT.
