I eat GardenBurger Flame Grilled soy burgers all the time and love them, but I have not had such great results with other brands of meatless burgers. I'm just curious to know what other safe meatless foods you've tried and love.

A couple of other Gardenburger products that sound yummy are BBQ Riblets, Chick'n Grill, and Mama Mia Meatballs. Have you tried any of these? I looked at the nutritional info and didn't see any obvious triggers (although I may have overlooked something). The only one that seems questionable to me is the meatballs because of the fat content, but maybe if eaten in moderation with a mostly fat-free dinner it would be okay...

What do you think? Any other products you would suggest?

Morningstar Corn Dogs -- yum. A friend of mine fed them to her (very anti meat substitute) boyfriend and he never noticed -- until they broke up and he asked her what they were so he could buy them.

I like these:

Veggie Dogs
although I OD'd on them and haven't had any in awhile!

The Morningstar Farms meat replacers are pretty darn good...

IMO tofurky are the only worthy meat replacements, they are not made with the standard GMO soybeans and are very clean and yummy, they have 3 kinds of sausages, hot dog styles and about 7 kindsof lunch meats all made from tofu and not soy protein isolate form GMO soybenas that are hexane extracted, yuck, like yves and the likes, just my opinion.
Tempeh is alos incredible good for you and meaty tasting in stews, it is fermented, so it is easy to digest, more so than soymilk or tofu.

Hi,
We really enjoy the products by Amy's. The Veggie Burger called the American Classic burger is our favorite. It has soy and a lot of spices, wheat gluten, and organic veggies. It is great with a big fat white bun and some roasted fries too.
